This place looked super busy before we went in. There were tons of people waiting for tables, but they gave us a 10 minute wait time. True to their words. Everyone was seated in 10ish minutes. Our server took our order, and we assumed the kitchen was going to take a long time, but we received our food promptly. Our food was great. The manager came by after we were done to make sure our food and experience was great. I responded my food was delicious, and this was my first time eating there. Soon, a complimentary dessert showed up. The flan was great!

I wish we would’ve found this restaurant sooner! Today was our first visit but it won’t be our last. Jose C was our server and was a kind and happy young man. The ambiance was great and the margaritas even better :D We won’t eat anywhere else when passing through Rocky Mount. Love the fireplace! 10/10 recommend.

What a place!!! This was my first time here and I was also excited about the place and food. As soon as we made entry, we got the place to sit on high chairs. Server was attentive and every other staff member was so nice to customers. Atmosphere was really great. Bar section is pretty big in size. Talking about food, it was really amazing. Served very hot and quickly. I ordered some kind of Enchiladas (Chicken), I don’t remember the exact name but it was really awesome. Served with salad and rice. My friend ordered some kind of Veg dish and he said it’s also good. Nachos and salsa are always my favorite. Quantity is also more than enough to one person. Overall I was very satisfied with the food. Love to visit again and again.

Isabel was an Awesome server. She smiled, was polite and friendly, and took great care of our big table with small children. Our food was hot, delicious, and affordable. We enjoy going to El Jimador.

Such a fun vibe!!! Delicious drinks with FRESH ingredients and food that’s hot and tasty! Visited here for the first time Saturday for date night and had a wonderful time. Service was top notch, the manager was super kind, checking on every table. I love the atmosphere: great music, twinkly lanterns and brick and wrought iron accents throughout. They serve the white jalapeno sauce along with the chips and salsa here- which is unique for this area, the salsa itself was incredible. Will definitely be back! Just as fun as any of the cool Raleigh places with more personal service.

This place is amazing! The decor is really nice, to quote my mom “the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to”. And the food is to die for! I finally had the chance to try birria tacos and I could have died happy eating those, they were so juicy and flavorful, they definitely don’t skimp out on the meat. I also had the pama margarita and that is STRONG and incredibly delicious.

Had a great meal here! Went here based upon reviews and, I was not disappointed. My server Hugo said to try the Jimador Burrito and boy was he spot on. BEST BURRITO I HAVE EVER EATEN! The meat and veggies in this burrito were seasoned perfectly and the sauce surrounding the burrito was fantastic. If you go, and don't mind a little kick to your food, ORDER THIS!! If I lived here i would get this every time I go. Thank you Hugo for the suggestion!
